Escola do Mecânico is a social business dedicated to promoting employability for low-income populations (classes C, D and E). It provides qualifications as car and motorcycle mechanics to, empowering students to find jobs or set up their own mechanics businesses. The social business also offers scholarships to students who are not able to pay the full price of the course because they recently lost their revenue source.
The social business has 35 schools spread across nine Brazilian states. It has already educated 30,000 students.
